questRef<QuestEntry>——
factRef<CachableFactEntry>—The fact that tracks the player's progress: it is increased by one for every counted event.
mobNameVar<String>—The MythicMob internal name to match. Leave empty to match any mob.
skillNameVar<String>—The name of the skill to count. Add the line `- typewriterSkill{name=<this name>} @Trigger` to that skill in MythicMobs (use a targeter such as @PIR{r=20} to reach players around the mob), then run /mm reload (also after Typewriter was stopped and started again: the console then says the mechanic is out of date). Leave empty to count every interaction with a matching mob instead.

How to use it

Counts how many times a player triggers a MythicMobs mob, up to amount. mobName filters the mob type, ignoring case. Each counted event adds 1 to fact (up to amount); onComplete and its modifiers run when amount is reached. The quest must be active.

  • skillName empty: every interaction with a matching mob counts (the player talking to the mob).
  • skillName set: only runs of that skill count. Add the line - typewriterSkill{name=<skillName>} @Trigger to the skill in MythicMobs (alias twskill; attributes name, n, skill or s). Use a targeter such as @PIR{r=20} to reach the players around the mob: the mechanic needs a player target, otherwise it does nothing. Then run /mm reload. After Typewriter was stopped and started again, the console asks for another /mm reload.

Progress lives in fact. Progress that older versions kept in the player's persistent data is moved to the fact automatically (the larger of the two values is kept).
